Rojales Moors & Christians
The Moors and Christians Fiesta will take place in Rojales from the 10th June to the 3rd July 2023. The Moors and Christians fiesta is held every year to coincide with the celebrations for the patron saint; San Pedro Apostol. Sunday 11th June
11:30 Chupinazo Parade to the Plaza Espana where the rockets will be launched to mark the start of the fiesta (swinwuit advisable)
14:15 Grand Mascelatas
20:00 Corpus Christi Procession
21:30 Switching on of the Fiestas Lights
Wednesday 21st June
22:30 Correfocs (hand held fireworks display) starting in the Plaza de la Iglesa and finishing next to the Hogueras at the Reina Sofia bridge
Saturday 24th June
20:00 Flower Offering
Wednesday 28th June
20:00 Firing of the Blunderbus guns followed battle, marching and taking of the castle in the Malecon del Soto.
Thursday 29th June

22:00 Charanga, Summer Carnival with the Moors and Christians

21:00 Entrance of the Moors at the Malecon del Soto with a Concert by the Music Band La Lira y Santa Cecilia and a Dance Show by the Escula de Baile Sofia Sanchez
