Finestrat will be enjoying their Fiest from the 24th to the 27th August 2023. The programme is a mixture of sporting competitions, parades, shows, flower offering and fireworks. The complete programme is in the PDF below and the highlights are:

Thursday 24th 
12:00 Traditional peal of bells.
12:15. Descent of Santísimo Cristo del Remedio from the Castell chapel.
19:00 Arreplegà, parade and opening of the Barracas (fiesta food and drink tents)
21:00 Official Opening Ceremony in the Plaça La Torreta.
21:30  Multicoloured Mascletà in the Plaça de la Unió Europea.

Friday 25th
08:30 Despertà Music Band Parade with rockets
19:30 Flower Offering Parade along Fonteta – Nou – Major – Alcoi – Figueretes – Avda. Benidorm-Carrer Fonteta-Casa Cultura.
22:45 Correfocs (hand held fireworks) Route: L’Hort – Fonteta – Nou – Major – Forn Alt – Sant Cristòfol – La Torreta.

Saturday 26th
08:30 Despertà Music Band Parade with rockets
20:00 Grand Parade of Humour. From El Raval.

Sunday 27th
08:30 Despertà Music Band Parade with rockets
11:00 Parade along the Barracas with the Comi.
12:30  Giant water slide from Carrer Fonteta to Plaça de la Unión Europea.
19:30  Solemn Procession with the Puig Campana Music Band. Route: Carrer Fonteta – Nou – Major – Forn Alt – Forn Baix – Hostal -Ferreria – Plaça La Torreta – Sant Miquel – Algepsers – Fonteta.
