The EuroTourGuide Calendar of Events has something for everyone to enjoy this weekend.
The Costa Blanca South has two Free Open Air Music Concerts. On Saturday night you can enjoy 1920’s style music by the Royal Club in the Palace Gardens in Jacarilla (advance booking at the Town Hall is essential) and on Sunday evening the Mediterranean Youth Orchestra will be preforming a Symphonic Concert in Formentera del Segura. There are two Free Guided Walks in Orihuela on Saturday and one around Cabo Roig on Sunday, all of which need to be reserved in advance online. San Fulgencio also has a Free Guided Walk on Sunday, which is a theatrical one! There will be Fig Tapas on offer in Albatera at the 5th Breba Gastronomy event this weekend. Hogueras is in full swing in Alicante with the daily Mascletas at 14:00 starting this Saturday, whilst Hogueras begins in Torrevieja with the placing of the statues in the street on Sunday.
In the Costa Blanca North and staying with the Hogueras theme, Javea will start their fiesta on Sunday with a Giant Paella. Moraira finish their Moors and Christians Fiesta with a battle on the beach on Saturday and the Spectacular Moors and Christians Parade on the Sunday.
In the Costa Calida, Folk Music can be enjoyed on Friday and Saturday with six Free Concerts in the Parque de la Rambla. There will be Tapas and Concerts all weekend in Torre Pacheco as they celebrate their annual Melon Fiesta!
