Calpe Fiesta Virgen de las Nieves
Calp will be honouring the Virgen de las Nieves from the 29th July to the 13th August 2023 with a packed programme of events. The programme of events includes parades, concerts, mascletas, greasy pole competition and of course a firework display. The main events are below or see the brochure for the full program.
Saturday 29th July
13:00 Ringing of the church bells and firecrackers
20:00 Entrada de la Murta Parade starting from Plaza Acro Iris finishing in Plaza Miguel Roselló
21:00 Opening Speeches and turning on of the Fiesta Lights from the balcony of the Town Hall
Tuesday 1st August
11:00 Act to signify the taking of the town hall and the governing of the town for one day by the 'quinta' (teenagers born during 1998) in the Plaza Miguel Roselló
Friday 4th August
13:00 Ringing of the church bells
20:30 Flower Offering at the Church of the Virgen de las Nieves
00:00 Mascletas, night fireworks in the Plaza Mayor
Saturday 5th August
11:30 Parade to collect the Fiesta Queens
12:00 Mass at the Church of the Virgen de las Nieves
14:00 Mascleta in the Plaza Mayor
20:30 Solemn Procession with the statue of the Virgen de las Nieves
23:55 Grand Firework Display called Castell a la Mar

19:30 Parade to collect the Fiesta Queens
20:30 Mass at the Hermitage San Salvador

20:30 Grand Fancy Dress Parade along Calle Benissa to the Plaza Colon.
