Archena will be honouring their patron saint; Santisima Virgen de la Salud and Corpus Christi from the 20th May to the 25th June 2023. The programme includes the Moors and Christians parades, flower offerings, a giant paella, fireworks and a whole lot more! 19:00 Children's Moors and Christians Parade. Route: Plaza Espana, Calle Mayor, Calle Ramón y Cajal, Avda. del Carril and Antiguo Colegio Miguel Medina

21:00 Inaguration of the Medieval Camp in the Parking del Miguel Medina.

 

21:00 Grand Parade of the Moors and Christians. Route: Carretera del Balneario, where it meets Calle Venezuela, then along Plaza 1st de Mayo, Avda. del Carril and Calle Duque de Huete.

 

21:30 Embajada in the Plaza Juan Pablo II, battle between the Moors and Christian for control of the castle, which the Christians win, followed by fire rockets to mark the end of the Moors and Christians fiesta.

 

10:00 Viewing of the Flower Carpet, ready for the Procession

19:00 Mass followed by the Corpus Christi Procession. Route: leaving the Iglesia Parroquial de San Juan Bautista, Plaza el Príncipe, Calle Mayor, Calle San Juan, Avda. del Carril, Carretera del Balneario, Calle Siria, Calle Vincente Aleixandre finishing at the Iglesia del Corpus Christi-La Purísima.
