The annual Incursiones Berberiscas or Berber Pirate Fiesta takes place in Los Alcazares around the end of March. It is a great experience with a medieval market, a pirate encampment, falconry displays, donkey rides and much, much more, including an re-enactment of the invasion of the Pirates as they arrive on the shores in their boats and battle on the beach.
