There is a great variety of local events to look forward to this weekend. Alicante City will travel back to Medieval times as it hosts the 2nd edition of the Medieval market in Santa Barbara Castle. The annual three day Rodearte Festival will combine music, food and art at the Cueves del Rodeo in Rojales. On Friday and Saturday there will be a Gastro Fest featuring local Bodegas and providers of artisan food products alongside a programme of concerts, show cooking and tastings. On Friday you can join the first of this months Free Guided Tours in Orihuela, where you can discover the River Route, whilst in Formentera del Segura on Saturday the Flour Mill Museum will be open for visiting during their 2nd Cultural Festival. Lastly you can join the Free Eco Walk in San Fulgenio which will follow the Birding Route.
