As we say goodbye to the first month of 2023 and hello to the second, we also welcome a more active Calendar of Events!!

This weekend it is the ever popular Medieval Market in Orihuela, with it's daily parades, stalls, taverns and other delights. There is a Romeria in Catral in honour of Santa Agueda and the Moors and Christians will be parading in Sax in honour of San Blas. The build up to the Carnival has already started in Torrevieja, where there will be a Carnival Fancy Dress Parade for Pets in the Parque de las Naciones on Sunday at midday. On Saturday the miniature steam trains will be chugging around the track at Torrellano and on Sunday the Caves will be buzzing in Rojales with the monthly Rodeart, a day full of art and music.
