Give yourselves something to look forward and join us for a fantastic evening at the Moors and Christians Parade in Santa Pola and for a wonderful day out to try your hand at a Potters Wheel and discover a Natural Park.
Coach Tour Santa Pola Moors and Christians Parade
A not to be missed evening out with time for a meal at the marina, a stroll along the beach front promenade, an explore of the town and of course a sample of the famous Luis Baldo ice-cream before the entertainment begins. Both the Moors and Christians parade during the evening, so you can enjoy the fabulous costumes of both; the outrageous flamboyancy and imaginative Moors and the strak conservativeness of the Christians. There are seats which can be rented along the route and everything is close by in this compact coastal town.
Pottery and the Park
A unique opportunity to return to the class room and not only make your own clay bowl but also to try your hand at the potters wheel! Arriving in time for a coffee and a stroll we then head to the very interesting pottery museum where we learn all about this traditional craft. The workshop is situated inside the museum and you can even take away your masterpieces! Having worked up an appetite we arrive at the beautiful Italian restaurant in Elche for a delicious menu del dia with half a bottle of wine. We top off the day with a stop at the Hondo Natural Park, where you can either admire the view or take a short, flat, easy circular walk along the wooden platforms through the reeds beds, for a close encounter with this wetland area and it’s wildlife.
