CARNIVAL - THE SUMMER WAY, BESIDE THE BEACH!!
Join us for an amazing experience as we head to the shores of the Mar Menor to witness the spectacular Summer Carnival Parade. The gently cooling sea breeze will fan you, as we arrive in plenty of time for you to explore, take a dip in the sea or discover a local restaurant. As dusk settles, the atmosphere becomes electric as the Carnival begins to the beat of the drums. Find your spot and soak up the razzmatazz for the next couple of hours, as you are continually entertained by the music, the dancing and the impressive, flamboyant costumes of feathers and sparkles and all things joyous! TROFEO FESTA D'ELX ELCHE CF V PARMA CALCIO
ElcheCF’s football season starts with their annual Trofeo Festa d’Elx match on Sunday 6th August, kick off at 21:00. This year the Franjiverdes are playing Parma Calcio 1913, an Italian professional football club based in Parma, which competes in the Serie B, the second tier of Italian football. You can book your match ticket for Anillo G3 Preferencia and coach travel for this unique fixture for 36.50€

In the Costa Blanca South it is your final opportunity to enjoy the 69th Habaneras Song Competition in Torevieja before it finishes for another year on Sunday. Staying with the theme of music, there are the free Summer Band Concert in the centre of Alicante on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening. This weekend there are 2 local fiestas to enjoy- One on Lo Crispin where there are concerts, games for the children, a parade and firework display. One in Quesada where there is a Giant Paella, Magic Show as well as live music and a firework display. In Los Montesinos they celebrate the gaining of their Independence with a Craft Market on Friday and a Music Band Concert on Sunday. Finally, the Moors will be Parading on Friday and the Christians on Saturday in Almoradi.
 
In the Costa Blanca North there is the Moors and Christians Fiesta in Villajoyosa which has been declared as being of International Tourist Interest. On Friday morning at 5am it is the disembarkation, when the Moors arrive on boats and battle the Christians at seas and on the beaches. On Saturday there is a Solemn Procession with fireworks on the beach and the whole Fiesta is topped off with a Carnival Parade on Monday. Calpe will start their Patron Saint Fiesta with the Murta Parade this Saturday, whilst Gata de Gorges will begin their with the Election of the Fiesta Queens on Friday and a Carnival Float Parade on Sunday.
 
The Costa Calida the 39th Flamenco Festival will take place in Lo Ferro, with a Free Performance on Sunday evening. In Calasparra the fiesta in honour of the two saints of Abdon and Senen will draw to a close on Sunday with a Solemn Procession and a Pasadobles Concert.
