Enjoy a day on the Mar Menor with a boat ride! Stopping in the delightful fishing village of Cabo de Palos with it's iconic light house there is time for a coffee and to explore. We then head along the narrow La Manga strip to the Marina where we board the boat for the one way journey to Santiago de la Ribera. After crossing the waters of the Mar Menor there is time to relax and enjoy the promenade where you can select one of the many cafe and restaurants for lunch, or bring your own picnic for the beach. After lunch we take a stop at the Museum in San Javier which gives an interesting insight into the history of the municipality from pre historic times through to modern day including it's role as the location for the Air Force Academy.

A new experience for the Hogueras Fiesta in Alicante. Join us for the amazing Ninots Exhibition and Parade. There will be an optional stop at the Ninot Exhibition in the Antigua Lonja de Pescados (1.50€ entrance) for you to admire the ninots from each of the 200 Hogueras Commissions. Then onto the centre for some tapas before the 3 hour Ninot Parade starts at 19:00, where the Hogueras Commissions parade in fancy dress costumes which represent the theme of their Ninot. This is a fun filled night where the locals embrace the fiesta feel!

This weekend, the Calendar of Events is very, very, very quiet. There are just the usual street markets and then some free concerts in Murcia for the 23rd edition of their Tres Cultures Festival.
