Caravaca Folk Jamming. A wonderful way to experience the music and dance of these Cuadrillas, groups of non professionals, who jam in the streets. Aguilas Carnival & Hotel. A truly magical, mesmerising and memorable evening as the hundreds of feather clad, sequinned adorned participants dance to the intoxicating beat of the Carnival music. Made all the more enjoyable with a 4* hotel B&B just 40km, a visit with a local Carnival expert for the inside take on this tradition and all finished off with a Menu del Dia.
The Giant Crystal, a wonder of the natural world. A unique opportunity to visit the stunning crystal lined cavern which is the largest accessible Geode in the world. Starting with an introduction to the underground world at a Mining Museum, there is free time in Aguilas where the 4* hotel is located at the start of the beach front promenade and finishing with a Menu del Dia at a beach front Chinginguito.
Off the Beaten Track Almond Blossom - Just 5 rooms left. Staying in a stunningly located hotel, it is wall to wall scenery with a scenic drive through the candylike Almond Blossom and a walk beside a river which is lined by 60 sculptures. Combined with 3 menu del dias, an award winning Jam Tasting and Bodega Visit, this is an experience not to be missed.
