A great way to enjoy the peace and calm after the manic summer season. Get away from it all for 3 full days and experience the tranquillity of the stunning coastal villages of the Cabo de Gata Natural Park. 

 

Just over 200 km to our hotel in the beautiful town of Carboneras, with it’s castle, beach promenade and caught in time feel. We make a day of the journey, stopping for coffee at a quaint bay and then entering the Natural Park for our lunch in the famous Celebrity Hangout village. After check in there is time to explore the town and walk along the promenade which is just 2 streets away. Dinner is at the hotel restaurant where you choose both your 1st and 2nd courses from the specially prepared Menu del Noche, including a glass of wine, beer or soft drink.

 

For the earlier risers and walkers there is a sunrise option to what is billed as the prettiest beach in Spain! Following a Spanish style breakfast we head into the Cabo de Gata Natural Park. It is like travelling back in time as we visit stunning beaches, a castle used in the filming of the Game of Thrones, abandon villages and peaceful coastal villages. We stop for coffee and a delicious Menu del Dia (included) at a beach front restaurant. If the weather is kind to us and the seas are calm, we take an after lunch boat ride to discover the nooks and crannies of this amazing volcanic coast from the water.

 

On the final day we head to the Park’s name sake village for a morning coffee. Then it is onto the lighthouse with its breathtaking view before returning to finish the experience with a final Menu del Dia (included) at an authentic beach front Chiringuito. We arrive back at approximately 19:30, reminiscing about our hide away in one of Spain’s most naturally beautiful locations.

 

There is a maximum of 400 meters, mostly flat walk from the coach to the coast in all of the locations which we discover. The three mid day meals in three different restaurants are all included making this a full board tour. The 2* Tio Felipe Hotel in Carboneras has an elevator, free wifi and all of the rooms have private bathrooms with a shower over the bath and air-conditioning. Breakfast, Spanish style, and the Evening Meal, where you choose both your 1st and 2nd courses are take at the hotel restaurant, just meters away. The tour is limited to a group size of 30 people, includes basic travel assistance insurance, all meals and, of course I will be with you helping you make the most of your holiday.
