The annual Romeria del Cap will take place in Santa Pola on the 10th and 11th June 2023. The romeria is a short pilgrimage or walk with the statue of the Virgen del Rosario from the church in the centre of Santa Pola to the hermitage near Gran Alacant.

20:30  Traditional songs and dances at the Ermita del Cap, by Coro de los Romeros, Coro El Castell and Coro Rociero Los Caminantes

 

06:30 Gathering at the church de Nuestra Señora de la Asunción in Santa Pola of all of the people who wish to participate in the Romeria.

07:00 The romeria leaves the church and continues along C/ Iglesia, Elche, Glorieta, Almirante Antequera, Sacramento, González Vicen, Santiago Bernabeu, to the playa del Varadero, then along Paseo Santa Pola del Este and the coast road known as the Camino de la Virgen del Rosario to the hermitage.
