Javea Fiesta Mare de Deu de Loreto
The town of Javea will be in fiesta from the 26th August to the 8th September 2023. During this time they will be honouring the Mare de Déu de Loreto and enjoying many activities including; parades, correfocs, flower offerings and much more. Saturday 26th of August
22:30 Official Presentation of the Fiesta in Av. Jaime I
Saturday 2nd September
12:00 Greasy Pole Competition in the harbour.
14:00 Paella, drinks and ice creams for all the children in the street Severo Ochoa.
19:30 Carnival Float Parade. Route: harbour - Cristo del Mar - Av.Lepanto- Antoni Llidó - Dr. Fleming - Av- Jaime I - Plaza Adolfo Suárez
0.00 Correfocs (street fireworks) in the Port area
Wednesday 6th September
19:30 Flowers Offering Procession in honour of Mare de Déu de Loreto.
Thursday 7th September
12:00 Informal parade with music band, Mayorales, Mayoralesas and the Fiesta’s Commission.
13:00 Street party in the street Cristo del Mar.
18:30 Parade with the town music band to visit the decorated streets.
19:00 Solemn mass in honour to Santísimo Cristo del Mar singed by the Church Chorus. Afterwards, procession from the church and firecracker display, Av.Jaime I.
Friday 8th September
11:00 Parade to the Church with music band Mayorales, Mayoralesas and the Fiesta’s Commission.
12:00 Mass followed by Mascletà (firecracker display) in Av. Jaume I.
20:00 Solemn Procession in honour of “Our Lady of Loreto".
12:30 Firework display to close the fiestas in honour of La Mare de Déu de Loreto
