The 5th Breba Gastronomy Plate Festival will take place in Albatera from the 16th to the 18th June 2023. During this weekend the 7 participating establishments will be offering special dishes which have been prepared from Brebas. The establishmnets are

• Babel Fusión de Sabores
• La Gruta del Café
• Al’Alba

A breba is a fig that develops on a common fig tree in the spring on the previous year's shoot growth. In contrast, the main fig crop develops on the current year's shoot growth and ripens in late summer or fall.
